When your life has been altered by the outcome of a singular event, the passage of time becomes different. But what happens when you missed it ? Have you ever felt like, you missed  a moment, the divine conjuncture that would have altered your life forever ? What happens then ? Does your reality stop, negate all that has happened leading up to that point, and you go on to your future with a blank slate , or do you go by without noticing it ?
Let us take a stroll down the paths we walked, and see what could have been in light of what already is, and ask ourselves, would that still be me if that had happened. Maybe on that rain filled day, when you had forgotten your umbrella, someone might have shared one with you , if you hadn't taken  the bus home, you might have stopped for coffee to dry up.
Her tired smile might have sent shivers down your spine, as she snuggled closer to you to warm up, staring at the rain together, you imagine the softness of her lips , the warmth of her body. The rain stopped , for a time , you take the long way home, thru the park, all the while wondering how to end the awkward silence between you.
Then she runs off in the distance, and jumps into his arms. You stand defeated and alone , a sad smile blooms on your face , as you slither away, hoping she won't notice. You find a spot under a tree, away from the road, and watch how the sun slowly melt away in the waters of a lake.
The rain starts again, but this time there is no umbrella, you stand there listening to the rain, drops start falling on your heard, you don't mind, your mind is at peace now, you console yourself with the fact that she is happy. Then you finally notice, that the rain stopped falling on you,  look up and see the umbrella.
A moment is just a moment , if you seize it or it passes, it doesn't matter, what matters is what will you do in the next one,  your life is not dictated by a singular event no matter how dramatic , take the long way home for once, and walk on those crooked streets , you never know what you might find.
i can't belive i actually found an ending for this :D

With the risk of repeating myself I say that these short fragments are the way to go for you. To be honest they resonate with myself in quite some fashion (an awful lot more than the adventures from "Forgotten").
It may seem odd to hear this from me, but keep up the good work! :D

P.S.: And to distinguish me from an alien who hacked the =diabolik5 account, you should know that some spelling and word order should be revised.
